Our campers come from all over.

No matter who they are, our kids are both celebrated and challenged in ways that help them grow into amazing human beings. We’re serious about being our best selves—it’s How We Be! We stand up for ourselves and our friends, take responsibility for our actions, and understand the part each of us plays in creating a joyful and welcoming community.

Camp is just the beginning.

Our staff and former campers attend some of the most elite colleges and universities in the world, including Brandeis University, Brown University, Carleton College, Carnegie Mellon University, The Ohio State University, University of Chicago, University of Michigan, University of Pennsylvania, Washington University in St. Louis, and Yale University.

Our alumni do amazing work.

Our alumni are saving the world by working in Rwanda, the Dominican Republic, China, and with organizations like Repair the World. We have alumni working for Google and for major law firms, banks, and consulting firms. Former campers and staff members are now teachers, graduate students, rabbis, and all around amazing people. Imagine where the Camp Havaya experience will propel your child!
“I can safely say that if camp never existed, I would never have become the person that I am today.” – Camp Havaya Alum

Join our Community.

Camp Havaya is a truly extraordinary place—your kid will feel part of something bigger than themselves, and they’ll want to experience that magic year after year.

Camp JRF is now Camp Havaya.

Worry not! We have a new name but, deep down, we’re still the same incredibly diverse and welcoming community where kids explore Judaism in their own ways and become the best versions of themselves.

Learn more about why we chose this name or click through to visit our website. Either way, we can’t wait to welcome you to Camp Havaya this summer!
